The Killing

TV series – Netflix Streaming – Crime Drama

This is one heck of a good show…very gripping and emotional. Not at all lite fare. Great casting, acting, writing, and production. This show centers around solving single murder in a town in Washington State. I had heard very good things from real critics about this show but to me it kind of sounded boring. I was completely wrong. The show lasted two seasons but it was by design, so there is beginning and and end to this story.

Movie – Blu-Ray – Sci-fi/Action/Thriller/Comedy

Very original, funny, intense, and visually pretty cool. It’s about an alien invasion in a small section of the projects in Britain and a group of teen hoods that try to survive it. The teens use a ton of (awesome) British slang and the accents are all very thick..so be ready to spend the first few minutes getting an ear for the accents/language. It is well worth the effort. This movie does have some harsh language, intense scenes, and violence/gore.
